Coming Soon! – New Western States (Colorado) branch of Merithew Law:

We are in the process of developing a Colorado office as base of operations in the West. As California and North Carolina licensed attorneys, we already provide legal services coast to coast, along with general counsel services and business consulting around the world. Now, we’re developing a new branch of our Firm in Fort Collins, CO.

Forrest Merithew is now located and based in Fort Collins to develop our new branch. This office will provide the same services and support as Merithew Law always has, with a continued focus on startups, products and manufacturing, innovation and entrepreneurship, land use, construction and environmental matters, breweries, beverages, foods and service industry operations, and the outdoor recreation and gear industry.

We look forward to a future announcement when our Colorado operations are fully running, but in the meantime, if any current or potential clients have any interests in the services of Merithew Law or questions of a legal business nature, they should contact Forrest (828 230 2822) or Forrest@MerithewLaw.com. We will have a Colorado contact number in the near future and are excited about this new development and opportunity. We are also looking forward to growing our network in the West, so feel free to connect with us on Facebook, LinkedIn, and other formats. Please feel to reach out and say hello!

Merithew Law via Forrest, along with several other awesome people and brands, is working with CO Active (Colorado Outdoor Gear Manufacturers Association) to put on an information series over the next year providing insights and forum information in a number of specific areas of need highlighted by its members, such as human resources, insurance, PR and marketing, legal (entities, investment, manufacturing and product liability, and IP), and more. These sessions are forum based with an industry moderator and a panel composed of both industry and some non-industry (diverse insights) folk with great experience in each specific area.

The first session is focused on human resources (HR) and related principals and issues this August 22, 2018 at Wayfinder Co-op on Santa Fe Dr. in Denver from 5:30 to 8:30 pm. It will also include beer and pizza, donated by Crazy Mountain Brewing Company and Denver Pizza Company. The Panel is moderated by Todd Stockbauer and includes Deanne Buck, Ryan Evans, Mark Hansen, and HR consultant Melanie Kruger. These individuals have worked with and represent brands and experiences such as Topo Designs, Camber Outdoors, Navy Seals, Spyder Ski Apparel, and more.
